Build confidence ✨ Price with purpose ✨ Plan for profit

This month, you have explored your money mindset, reviewed the importance of pricing for profit, considered how to build wealth and started thinking about budgets, Q4 goals and 2027 projections.

Now comes the question that brings it all together:

💫 What will you do differently because of what you have learned?

As we close October’s Knowing Your Numbers theme, this is your invitation to join our Glowgetter Money Mastermind, a dedicated time to reflect, review and turn financial awareness into action.

Bring your figures, your questions and your ambition. Whether you work independently or alongside a trusted business peer, the purpose is to leave with clearer decisions and a plan you can follow.

💫 Start with the mindset behind your money

Before opening a spreadsheet, notice how you feel about it.

Are you curious, confident, uncomfortable or tempted to put it off? Perhaps you enjoy celebrating sales but avoid reviewing expenses. Perhaps you understand your costs yet hesitate to charge a sustainable price.

Your beliefs about money can influence the decisions you make with it.

A constructive money mindset begins with a willingness to look honestly at your position. You can acknowledge a disappointing result and still believe in your ability to improve it.

Replace “I am terrible with numbers” with “I can learn to understand the figures that guide my business.” Then give that belief a practical expression: book a regular money meeting, ask a question or review an expense you have been avoiding.

Your numbers are information. They do not measure your personal worth.

✨ Mastermind reflection: Which money belief is influencing my behaviour, and what useful habit will I practise instead?

💫 Review whether your prices support your business

A busy diary can feel reassuring. But activity alone does not show whether your business is financially sustainable.

Choose one core product or service and review its price alongside the resources needed to deliver it. Consider materials, team support, preparation, delivery, administration and follow-up. Account for your time when assessing whether the offer rewards your work, and consider the overheads the business must cover.

🤔 Ask yourself: What remains? Is the offer contributing enough to support excellent delivery, your income and future growth?

If the answer is disappointing, explore the reasons. You might need to adjust the price, simplify delivery, clarify what is included or remove extras that consume time without adding sufficient value.

Also consider the client’s experience. Can you explain clearly what the offer provides, who it serves and why it is valuable?

Financial clarity gives your pricing decisions a stronger foundation.

✨Mastermind reflection: Which offer needs attention, and what change will I evaluate first?

✨ Connect today’s income to tomorrow’s choices

During our wealth-building theme, we explored the importance of looking beyond the next sale.

What do you want your business to make possible? More choice over your time? Greater financial resilience? Support for your family? The ability to contribute to a cause that matters to you?

Give that ambition a place in your planning.

Choose one business financial goal and one personal financial goal. They may be connected, but keep them distinct so you can see what each requires. A business reserve and personal retirement savings, for example, serve different purposes.

Write down the target, the timescale and your next step. That step might be understanding what you can pay yourself sustainably, reviewing your savings habit or preparing questions for a qualified adviser about longer-term options.

Progress starts with connecting your future priorities to decisions you can make today.

✨ Mastermind reflection: What future choice do I want to create, and how will my financial plan support it?

💫 Give your Q4 goals and 2027 ambitions a budget

A goal becomes more useful when you identify what achieving it will require.

For the remainder of Q4, choose two or three priorities. Perhaps you want to improve the profitability of a core offer, follow up on outstanding invoices or secure bookings for the new year.

Give each priority a measurable target, a deadline and a practical action.

Then review your budget. Does it include the delivery costs, marketing, support and time those goals require? Does your sales target fit the capacity you actually have?

Pay attention to when money arrives and leaves. A sale and a payment may fall in different months. The British Business Bank’s cash flow guidance recommends placing receipts in the period when payment is expected, then mapping outgoings and the running cash balance. [1]

For 2027, write down the assumptions behind your projections: expected client numbers, prices, costs, launch dates and available capacity. Explore cautious, expected and ambitious scenarios, including what each would require you to deliver.

Your projection is a working plan. Revisit it as actual results give you better information.

✨ Mastermind reflection: Do my targets, resources and cash timing fit together?

💫 Bring the mastermind to life

A useful mastermind creates space for honest questions, constructive challenge and follow-through.

If you are working with a trusted peer or small group, ask each person to bring one financial question. Share only the information you feel comfortable discussing. You could explore questions such as:

✨ Which offer delivers the best return for the time it requires?

✨ What cost deserves closer attention?

✨ What assumption in my 2027 plan needs testing?

✨ Which action would improve my financial position over the next month?

Listen for questions that help you examine your own decisions. Another entrepreneur’s experience can offer perspective, while your circumstances and figures should guide your plan.

If you are working independently, write your answers down and identify where a mentor, accountant or qualified adviser could help you resolve a specific question.

💫 Your next 30 days:

Autonomy, Accountability and Action

Bring your Money Mastermind together through the Glowgetter A-Team values.

✨ Autonomy: Take ownership of understanding your financial position. Know which figures you can explain and where you need support.

✨ Accountability: Schedule a weekly numbers review and a fuller monthly check-in. If you have an accountability partner, agree when you will share progress.

✨ Action: Choose three commitments for the next 30 days. For example:

  1. Review the costs and profitability of one core offer.

  2. Update the cash forecast for the remaining quarter and early 2027.

  3. Turn one future financial goal into a target, date and first step.

For each commitment, record what you will do, when you will do it and how you will recognise progress.

💫 The Glowgetter Takeaway 💫

October has given you an opportunity to strengthen your relationship with money, examine your pricing, connect your business to your future and give your ambitions a financial plan. Now give those lessons a regular place in your leadership.

Set aside a Power Hour. Bring your numbers. Ask honest questions. Choose the actions that deserve your attention and make time to follow through.

Use these reflections alongside the Know Your Numbers: The Glowgetter Money Mastermind mini-course and worksheet to build your own 30-day plan.

“Your numbers tell a story. Your next action helps shape the next chapter.”
